Maximum energy efficiency thanks to the automatic switch-off of the first heating coil when the boiling point is reached. The second, much smaller heating coil continues to boil the water quietly or keeps it boiling hot at approx. 98°C without the water splashing upwards as is usual when boiling - it merely gushes. Depending on the temperature setting, the water can also be kept just hot or warm without hardly evaporating. If you want to bring it back to the boil, it only takes a few seconds to a few minutes, depending on the contents.
